On April 21, 2025 Citra Fajar Utama conducted an audit SVLK (Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu) = Timber Legality Verification System. SVLK ensures that timber products and raw materials are obtained from sources that fulfill legal requirements regarding origin and management. The SVLK contains standards, criteria, indicators, verifiers, verification methods, and assessment norms that have been agreed upon by all parties involved.

An independent organization will conduct an audit of the company’s timber production and management processes. This process involves field inspections to ensure all compliance standards are met. The audit also assesses the environmental management system as well as the traceability of the wood raw materials used.

If all requirements are met, the company will be issued with an SVLK certificate valid for a certain period of time. This certificate is proof that the wood products produced have met the legality standards set by the government.

Companies must conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with established standards. These evaluations are conducted by independent organizations to avoid irregularities in the timber supply chain.
