The quality of Indonesian processed wood products is increasingly recognized in the European market, especially Germany. Appearing at the Interzum 2023 Exhibition held at Kolnmesse, Cologne, Germany on May 9-12, 2023, Indonesia’s flagship product was able to record potential transactions worth USD 3.1 million or IDR 46 billion. The Director General of National Export Development revealed that Indonesian processed and technical wood products are still the favorite of European consumers because of their quality and innovation. “For that, we must be proud and participation in the Interzum 2023 Exhibition is proof of the commitment and existence of Indonesian producers and business people in promoting quality wood products,” he said.
Interzum is an international exhibition held every two years. The exhibition is divided into three main promotional focuses. First, Materials and Nature, which features products for flooring, vinyl, laminates, and other interior purposes made from wood, minerals, and natural materials. Second, Functions and Components featuring kitchen, office, furniture, and lighting systems. Third, Textile and Machinery featuring interior equipment products from textiles and leather. Indonesia’s participation in this exhibition is part of the Directorate General of National Export Development’s manufacturing product promotion program in collaboration with the Berlin Trade Attaché, the Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) Hamburg, and supported by the Indonesian Export Financing Agency (LPEI).
At this year’s exhibition, Citra Fajar Utama (CFU) became one of the 6 companies facilitated by Paviliun Indonesia. By bringing CFU’s flagship woodworking products such as Finger Joint Laminated (FJL), flooring, decking, lamella, and industrial Mozaik etc. This exhibition is a prestigious international event that is the destination of more than 74 thousand international distributors and buyers as well as a business opportunity for around 1,800 participants from various countries in Europe, Asia and America. “Through participation in this exhibition, it is hoped that it can open opportunities for CFU to become part of the international wood product supply chain. And it is an honor for CFU at this interzum exhibition to receive a visit from Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Federal Republic of Germany Mr Arif Havas Oegroseno.
